We were very fortunate to have had your funeral home take care of the funeral of our dear mother Nancy. Words cannot appropriately describe the excellent service that your staff provided. We want to thank each and every one of the staff for your sensitivity, compassion and professionalism. The funeral, and the days leading up to, was handled in the most tasteful manner. Your thoughtful suggestions and warm support made it easier for us to create a tribute to the life of our mother Nancy. We appreciate the extra touches and were impressed with attention you paid to our wishes. Dear Bay Gardens staff: thank-you for the excellent job in helping me make decisions to give my dear husband the funeral he deserved. You realy understood our sorrow and loss. When I reflect on the time passed, I remember clearly how wonderful you all were. It helped me to know that we placed Wayne in your hands. I have never seen such care extended by a funeral director, much less staff. You were so wonderful & caring through this whole tragedy in my life From beginning to end everything was so organized, so personal, you made a very difficult time easier Thank-you for meeting every need and honouring every request. Your staff are exceptional and your special touches are so nice. Those are rare in today’s world.

 

I would like to express my sincere thanks to the staff at Bay Gardens funeral home (Burlington) who arranged my mothers cremation and funeral service. All of our wishes were handled with the greatest tact and care, something that should not be taken for granted. Everything starting with your beautiful facility to the flower arrangements and to the recommendation of the pastor, was very tasteful and met our fullest expectations. The fact that my mother was cremated in Canada and was laid to rest in Germany brought additional challenges with it including liaising with the German consulate in Toronto, etc. All was handled to our highest satisfaction. Your professionalism in this time was very comforting and reassuring and the online obituary and condolence book was such a great feature as many of my mother’s friends live abroad. This way they could all say good-bye one final time. Many thanks to you and your team and all the best for your future.

We would like to take a moment to personally thank Ms. Lindsay Jones for her help and guidance after the death of our father/father-in-law. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable, friendly and most sympathetic. The Celebration of Life service we chose was perfection and her graveside manner was impeccable. I know that we all appreciated her expertise and manner. Bay Gardens is a wonderful spot when you are in this situation and really makes you feel like someone cares. We thank you.

 

Dear Donna & the Markey Family: Thank-you for the summer memorial service and for your hospitality in remembrance of our father Leonard Johnston. The luncheon was excellent and with an afternoon of beautiful music.

Lovely, serene atmosphere. Because my husband was a much loved young man, I knew we would need a large facility with lots of parking. Thank you for everything.
