Bayview Cemetery, Crematory and Mausoleum has served the Halton, Hamilton-Wentworth and Niagara region for almost a century. This location was once known as "Bay View Park” where the Hamilton Mausoleum opened its doors in 1927.
Bayview is truly one of the most beautiful cemeteries in Canada overlooking Burlington Bay and we encourage you to visit its park-like setting. Designed in the classic Greek Doric style, it boasts fluted pillars, bronze doors, marble floors and stained glass windows by the renowned Canadian artist James Blomfield. In response to changing times, Bayview Cemetery has offered in-house cremation since the 1960s and was the first crematorium in the region. In addition, the cemetery offers crypts, indoor and outdoor niches, scattering garden, burial plots and the only musical Carillon Tower in Canada for cremated remains.
We are proud of its heritage and invite you to join us throughout the season
for both memorial services and special events.
